Two-Mile Run (2MR)
The final event of the AFT evaluates cardiovascular endurance and aerobic fitness under accumulated physical fatigue from the prior four strength and anaerobic events.
Pacing Strategy & Track Breakdown
Conducted on an outdoor or indoor measured 400-meter track (8 laps) or flat road course. Because the run occurs immediately following the Plank, proper pacing is essential to avoid premature lactate accumulation.
Lap Split Target Table (400-Meter Track):
- Max (13:22 / 100 Pts): Target pace of 1:40 per 400m lap (6:41 min/mile).
- Tape Exemption (16:00 / 80 Pts): Target pace of 2:00 per 400m lap (8:00 min/mile).
- Combat Pass (18:30 / 65 Pts): Target pace of 2:18 per 400m lap (9:15 min/mile).
- General Pass (19:30 / 60 Pts): Target pace of 2:26 per 400m lap (9:45 min/mile).
