Sprint-Drag-Carry (SDC)
The SDC evaluates anaerobic endurance, high-intensity sprinting, agility, and the physical power needed to react to enemy fire, drag a wounded comrade, and transport heavy ammunition cans.
The 5 Consecutive 50-Meter Shuttles (250m Total)
Soldiers start in the prone position on the start line. On "GO," they execute five consecutive 50-meter shuttles (25 meters down and back):
Shuttle 1: 50m Sprint
Sprint 25m down, touch line with foot and hand, sprint 25m back.
Shuttle 2: 50m 90-lb Sled Drag
Grasp straps with two hands, pull 90-lb sled backward 25m across line, turn and pull back 25m.
Shuttle 3: 50m Lateral Shuffle
Side-shuffle 25m facing one direction (feet never cross), touch line, shuffle 25m back facing same direction.
Shuttle 4: 50m Kettlebell Carry
Grasp two 40-lb kettlebells (80 lbs total), carry 25m down across line, turn and carry 25m back.
Shuttle 5: 50m Final Sprint
Drop kettlebells safely behind line and sprint maximum effort 25m down, touch line, sprint 25m through finish.
